Why Me?
My name is Cathy Spendiff and I have trained and worked in both the private and public health sectors of the UK for over 16 years, with qualifications in social work, addictions and couples counselling, systemic family therapy and equine therapy. My own personal experience of depression and anxiety, tragedy and addiction has provided me with first-hand insight into the complexities and associated issues. I live my life based around recovery using the 12 Steps and believe in using a holistic approach to finding solutions and strategies for underpinning the changes needed to improve quality of life.
Your therapy will not be confined to a particular approach. Instead, together, we will use what works best for you. This can include CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Mindfulness, Brief Solution Focus, 12 Step, Equine Therapy.
